If anyone has a copy could you please zip the disk(s) and send to dssweigart@yahoo.com? Any notes regarding how to install, etc. would also be appreciated. Hate to burst your bubble guys but the software is password protected. Coping the software is no big deal but you cannot open it without a correct password and thats where the problem begins and ends. You have to have a Dealer Number to register it. I have a call into Polaris Tech to see if we can buy it and resell it to you!

If so I will be glad to help you out.The other problem is you will have to buy the High $$$$$$$$ cables and again they are only available thru Polaris. You have to have a dealer number to register the software and they will not do polariw any other way!! Also the cables have resistors built in them and if you try and build your own and do not use the correct resistor they will not give out the right readings to the software for diagnostic data!

Anyway, I realy don't think it would be helpfull if everybody were able to get the DW. 99.9% of the owner are not able to work with the digital wrench anyway.You will probably work 3 hours to find a problem and your dealer should take 1/2 hour to find it. so do you think it worth the money?You have to buy a new plug everyyear to fit the new sled @ 100-200$ each.�New plugs for ATV, ranger etc.�You need to get up to date labtop to be able to run the DG.

and you also need to pay big eiagnostic every years wrency be able to run the DG. If you had a choice of 2 dealers to go to, one with a tool to detect the problem with your sled and the other having to guess at the problem, which would you pick?Now, think of how long the one you didn't pick will stay in business, at least working on new sleds. Thats just it. How many dealers are�willing to tell you they don't have digital wrench to do the diagnostics on these new sled.

I would think as in many high tech feilds today, all Polaris service centers would be�required to have�mandatory�training and use�of the digital wrench.

I've been around some of these smaller Polaris shops softsare have been around a long time. A couple of them would be challanged to do a simple tps check, let alone digiital the equiptment to make it possible. yes, every polaris dealer have the digital wrench.

Just to give you an example, we receive many tool in 1 year. We don't order it, Polaris ship it and they call it essential tool. Every dealer had been trained for the DW. But I agree with you, some dealers don't know how to use it. Same as car dealer, or something else.

But honestly, if a dealer is not able to make a tps adjustment. he should not sell anything. But for the DW, the best way to lean to work it is still by using it. Same as every computer program. willie.i could just lift the hood to this new dragon and look, but what interface are they using??

The 4 stroke and 900-755 CFI have a polaris plug. You probably can find a code. but for what it worth. With the DW, you have many step to follow to find the trouble. In many case, with the just the code, you are not able to find the problem. That page is for dealers only, and even their pricing is outdated.To order & receive the diagnostic software, the wait time is approx 9 months.

The software I offer is "diagnostics only" for the Walbro ECU, and the MSX series uses a Bosch ECU. It's truly sad that very few dealers have this software, and there is probably some sitting unused at dealerships (like Al suggested).I wish I had a solution to this problem.

So basically it can only do monitoring and no modifications. I have a complete Digital Wrench with software v 2.09 for sale! It has the SmartLink module, Vehicle Interface Harness and the serial cable. I know of some that were able to upgrade the software outside of a dealership but I am not sure how they did it or what they had to do to upgrade. I'm asking $1000 for it.
